These Terms and Conditions form part of every bike and car rental agreement with Suheil Rentals. By booking, paying for, collecting, or using a vehicle, the renter confirms that they have read and accepted these terms.

1. Rental Agreement

The booking confirmation and signed rental agreement identify the vehicle, rental period, authorized driver, price, deposit, pickup and return arrangements, and any special conditions. Only the renter or another driver approved in writing by Suheil Rentals may operate the vehicle.

2. Driver Eligibility & Documents

Each authorized driver must:

• Be between 23 and 70 years old
• Hold a full and valid driving licence for at least two years
• Present a valid passport or another accepted government-issued ID
• Have an international driving permit or obtain the required local endorsement; an endorsement fee of USD 10 may apply
• Have no restriction or endorsement that prevents lawful operation of the rented vehicle

3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

All bookings are subject to availability and become confirmed only after Suheil Rentals issues a confirmation and receives any required deposit or payment.

• Rental prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise
• Fuel and driving permit or licence-endorsement fees are not included unless specifically written in the booking
• If the renter ends or breaches the agreement early, up to 50% of the agreed remaining rental cost may be charged
• Any cancellation or refund arrangement shown in the booking confirmation will take priority for that reservation

4. Permitted Use of the Vehicle

The renter must use the vehicle responsibly and comply with all traffic laws. The vehicle must not be:

• Driven by anyone who is not named as an authorized driver
• Driven on the seashore, in seawater, on prohibited roads, or in unsafe off-road areas
• Used for racing, speed testing, towing, commercial transport, or any unlawful activity
• Driven carelessly, dangerously, while overloaded, or while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Taken outside the agreed area without prior written permission

Suheil Rentals may terminate the rental and recover the vehicle if there is evidence of careless driving, intentional damage, unlawful use, or another serious breach of these terms.

5. Renter's Responsibility & Vehicle Security

The renter is responsible for the care and security of the vehicle throughout the rental period.

• Lock the vehicle and remove the keys whenever it is unattended
• Park in a secure location and, where available, use guarded parking overnight
• Do not leave the vehicle, keys, or rental documents with an unauthorized person
• Report any loss, theft, warning light, unusual noise, fault, or damage immediately
• Return the vehicle with all supplied keys, helmets, tools, documents, and accessories

6. Fuel, Mileage & Rental Time

• Free mileage is included unless a different limit is stated in the booking
• Fuel is paid by the renter and the vehicle must be returned at the agreed fuel level
• The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location
• Approved extra rental time is charged at USD 5 per hour until the applicable daily rate is reached
• An extension is valid only after Suheil Rentals confirms it; keeping the vehicle longer without approval is a breach of the agreement

7. Insurance & Excess

Vehicles are insured subject to the insurer's policy, exclusions, and the renter's compliance with these terms. Where comprehensive cover applies, the renter remains responsible for the first USD 350 of covered scooter damage, or any other excess stated in the rental agreement.

Subject to the insurance policy, comprehensive cover may include non-collision loss or damage caused by:

• Theft or attempted theft
• Vandalism or fire
• Natural disasters, falling objects, or animals

8. Insurance Exclusions

Insurance does not remove the renter's responsibility for excluded, negligent, or unlawful damage. Unless the insurer confirms otherwise, cover does not include:

• Tyres, rims, glass, mirrors, keys, or undercarriage damage
• Collision damage not covered by the applicable policy
• Medical costs for the renter or passengers
• Damage or loss caused by an unauthorized driver, beach or seawater use, reckless driving, or a traffic-law violation
• Damage occurring while the driver is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
• Theft or loss resulting from leaving the vehicle unlocked, unsecured, or with the keys

The renter must pay for damage caused by negligence, misuse, or conduct excluded by insurance, together with any related recovery costs and loss of rental income where legally recoverable.

9. Accidents, Damage & Mechanical Failure

• Stop safely and contact Suheil Rentals immediately after an accident, theft, breakdown, or damage
• Notify the police where required and obtain a police report
• Do not admit liability, agree to payment, or arrange repairs without our approval
• Take photographs and collect the names and contact details of all involved persons and witnesses where safe to do so
• Mechanical failure arising from normal use is the responsibility of Suheil Rentals; unauthorized repairs will not be reimbursed unless approved in advance

10. Delivery, Pickup & Return

• Pickup and return locations must be agreed before the rental begins
• Delivery fees depend on distance and will be confirmed before booking
• The renter must be present with the required documents at the agreed handover time
• The vehicle should be inspected jointly at pickup and return, with existing marks recorded

11. Charges, Fines & Deposits

• The renter is responsible for traffic fines, parking charges, towing costs, and penalties incurred during the rental
• A security deposit may be required and may be used toward unpaid rental charges, damage, missing items, excess, fuel, cleaning, or penalties
• Any balance remaining after authorized deductions will be returned using the agreed method
• The renter remains responsible where the total amount owed exceeds the deposit

12. Privacy & Personal Information

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and will never sell your data to third parties. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

14. Changes to These Terms

Suheil Rentals reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
